The George is a privately-owned student housing property located just 1 mile from campus.
While you’re welcome to lease an apartment with a friend, we also offer roommate matching and individual leasing. This means, you can show up on your own, lease the apartment of your liking, and leave the rest to us.
With Individual Leasing, you are only responsible for your bedroom and your share of common area expenses. This means that your rent doesn’t change whether you live in an apartment with roommates, or whether you are the only person in an apartment and the remaining rooms are vacant.
Our pricing includes internet. There is no electricity allowance/cap. We prefer to allow our residents to only pay for the electricity they actually use.
We offer an annual (12-month) term from August through July.
We accept check, money order, debit/credit cards, traveller’s checks. We do not accept cash payments.
Yes, you may. However, The George does not work directly with the Financial aid office, therefore it would be up to you to wait until you have the funds in hand, and then make a payment for your rent.
